The Allen & Heath Xone:23 is a 2-channel DJ mixer that comes with professional DJ features and controls such as 3-band EQ with total EQ kill as well as the legendary Xone filter, selectable crossfader curves, an additional microphone channel and a total of four inputs. This robust and compact DJ mixer is perfect for scratch DJs, home DJ setups as well as nightclub and bar installations.

Xone 23 features a dedicated send and return FX loop which enables you to connect your favourite effects processor while a dedicated record output allows you to record your mixes directly to an external recording device or audio interface for recording directly to your laptop. The primary mix output and microphone input both feature a balanced XLR connection, the microphone input comes with its own dedicated 2-band EQ as well as a microphone level control. At the heart of the Xone:23 mixer is the legendary Xone VCF filter system which gives you high-pass and low-pass filter options with ‘mild to wild’ resonance control as well as a frequency sweep control that ranges from 20 Hz – 20 kHz; the filter can also be routed to both channels as well as the FX return. The two stereo channels come with independent level controls for each input and allow up to four stereo audio sources to be connected at any one time as well as be simultaneously routed to the overall mix.

All channels feature monitoring facilities so you can monitor your cue’d tracks with a cue/master mix control while a booth monitor output lets you hear the overall mix clearly when you’re in the DJ booth. Also, there is a highly-visible nine segment LED level meter that enables you to see when you’re overloading the signal.

The style and look of the Xone:23 mixer has been inherited from the xone DB4 and includes soft touch, backlit controls that are clearly visible even in darker environments making it perfect for clubs and bars. The distinctive shape of the Xone:23 features a super-sturdy steel faceplate that is robust and can deal with the rigours of everyday on-stage use. Also, the crossfader can be upgraded to the latest Innofader for an even more enhanced scratch performance which is available as an accessory.
